Salvia Cathedral
(Salvia
farinacea)
Native Perennial

Eight colors to choose from, Salvia Cathedral makes a great native perennial to any landscape.  Salvia Cathedral is compact in size compared to other Salvias, but don't mistake that with the amount of color that the blooms will punch with. The height typically will only reach about 12 inches allowing it to make a great plant for planters too.

HOW TO PLANT

FIND A LOCATION - Salvia Cathedral thrives in full sunlight.  The location should be well drained to allow the plants to blossom.
PLANT IT - One of the most simple plants to plant, simply take a "plug" out of the ground. The hole that you plugged should be as deep as the container is tall. Drop your Salvia Cathedral in the ground and cover back up with dirt.
WATER IT IN - After you plant your new native perennial you will need to water them in.  They will need water once week until they start to sprout.
ENJOY - Simplicity turns into beauty. The Salvia Cathedral that you plant will sure to be an eye catcher come the Summer.

**Growing Tip**
Salvia Cathedral makes a great plant for containers, garden beds, edging and cut flowers.
