Known for it's aromatic splendor and bright blooms, Rosemary is a perfect low growing evergreen. This perennial herb has many uses around the home most notably the flavor of it's leaves for cooking and garnishments. Oils  produced by the leaves are used in fragrances and in everyday product such as shampoo. The various varieties of Rosemary mark it a great plant to plant almost anywhere; even adding in to your planters make a nice option.

There are many varieties of Rosemary with all of them being extremely hardy through the Alabama summers.  This perennial herb allows for various uses based on your need from an accent of a flower bed to being used as simple greenery. Based on the variety that is selected will base the color of blooms and height of the plant.  The smaller variety Rosemary can make a great addition to any flower bed, a simple container plant, edging or topiaries.
